On-site Consultations

A garden consultation is an opportunity to discuss your outdoor space in detail, without the need to commit to a full garden design project. During a focused visit to your garden, we can look at your ideas, concerns and wishlist, explore the opportunities and challenges of the space, and develop practical solutions and recommendations tailored specifically to your garden.

The consultation is prepared in advance using the information you provide, allowing our time together to focus on constructive discussion, solutions and practical advice, rather than familiarising myself with the garden or the issues you wish to address.

Preparing for your consultation

To make the most of our time together, I ask you to send me some information before the visit -

  • Photographs of your garden, or of the particular area we will be discussing

  • Your address and Eircode, so I can review the location and satellite image of the garden beforehand

  • Any existing garden plans, if available

  • A brief list of your questions, concerns and wishlist — bullet points are absolutely fine

This allows me to familiarise myself with your garden and prepare for the specific topics you would like to discuss, so that the consultation itself can be focused on ideas, solutions and recommendations.

Consultation arrangements & fees

The length of the on-site consultation and the fee are agreed with you in advance, based on the scope of the advice required and the nature of your garden.

Consultation fees start from €300. For gardens located more than 50 km from my office, additional travel costs may apply.

Following the consultation, I will prepare a written follow-up document summarising the key points discussed, including photographs from the garden and recommended next steps.

Drawings, plans and 3D visualisations are not included in the consultation service.
